I present you:

01. The Upsetters - Popcorn
02. Blood Sisters - Ring My Bell
03. The Marvels - Rocksteady
04. Sound Dimension - Full Up
05. Junior Murvin - Police & Thieves
06. Cutty Ranks - Who Say Me Dun
07. Dillinger - Cocaine In My Brain
08. Peter Tosh - Steppin Razor
09. Future Pigeon - Gift Tax
10. The Paragons - The Tide Is High
11. The Congos - Fisherman
12. Third World - Satta Massagana

A while back I threw a little reggae party and this was the setlist that I spun. It is not the most thorough or obscure compilation of reggae music in the world but I think its a pretty solid set. I tried to have a good variety of genres to play that would give a decent representation of the depth of reggae. Here you will find some rocksteady, dancehall, soul, funk, disco, roots, and even a modern dub track. This compilation is mixed live as I played it, complete with the bad mixing, crackling and other goodies you get from spinning vinyl. I also mixed it at a slightly higher speed since I wanted people to boogie. As the title suggests, there is a theme to this mix. People were probably too drunk to have realized it when I played it. But I hope you like it. Definitely more to come.

I'd like to thank Al for mixing the recording with his studio wizardry.

And feel free to ask me for a cdr, espcially if you were there.
